About Larcher's Market
The original Larcher’s Market first opened in Wichita in 1922. It was a well-known store and brand that built a very loyal customer base over the 60+ years it was in operation, even surviving the Great Depression.
The store was founded by Frank Larcher who had said they prided themselves on “great quality products and personalized customer service”. Their goal was to treat everyone as family and most guests were known by name. The store stayed in the family for decades and was finally closed in 1988.
In 2023, Larchers reopened, staying faithful to the character and reliability of the original store.
